Beautiful work, I wish I could do this. She manages to work soft elements with stone in a way that makes total sense. I love contrasts, and this contrast of texture is delicious! Bravo!

Finally done with Red Wool Hearts

I finally finished this pattern and the little extras that go with it....had a lot of fun wearing my Valentine's scarf (pushing the season a bit). So cheerful! Here's the pattern on etsy: Heart Scarfette

I love this stitch, remember it?

My husband's old fire chief's invalid wife taught me this stitch about thirty years ago. Jeez, that makes me old. I love mixing these long double crochets with regular stitches, so very easy and nice and nubby. Doesn't have to be all complicated or snooty, just interesting and simple.
